Warm Up

Starting a story with some warm up activities that include mid-line crossing movement, helps children be more attentive.

Day Monkey-Night Monkey (Julia Donaldson)

The stories help teach concepts in a fun way. This story helps children understand and segregate the diurnal and nocturnal animals. Flannel board gives children a visual stimulus and the concepts are imbedded permanently.
