How to use this package
First, discover the country with the child by going over the file “Information about the country (for children).pdf”. This file has interesting facts about the country, where it’s located in the world, the country’s flag, etc.
Then, the child should read the story in the file “Story reading (for children).pdf”. While the child is reading that, the guardian should follow along in the file “Story analysis questions (for guardians).pdf”. There are questions in red that the parent should ask the child during the reading to develop critical thinking, an essential skill for a 21st century child.
The child should then do the worksheet in the file “Worksheet (for children).pdf” independently. This will help in the child’s comprehension and vocabulary skills and also bring out their creativity. To check the child’s work, the parent should use the answers provided in the file “Worksheet answers (for guardians).pdf”.
